Evocom attended the AMEC–Postal Forum Industry Member Lunch Gathering on 10 February 2026, joining a broad cross-section of industry players including Citilink, Pos Malaysia, ABX Express, GDEX, City-Link, MTL and others. The lunch provided a valuable platform for practical dialogue on customer expectations, operational realities, and the shared responsibility to continuously strengthen service standards across the ecosystem.

A key highlight was the Postal Forum team’s gesture of presenting a physical copy of the Code of Practice for Postal Services (CPPS), a milestone industry reference developed by Postal Forum and approved by MCMC (Dec 2024).

Why CPPS matters

The CPPS serves as a clear, practical baseline for governance and service delivery across postal and courier operations. It establishes a common language for the industry by outlining minimum expectations around:

  • Service quality and delivery reliability benchmarks
  • Consumer protection, customer rights, and fair outcomes
  • Transparent pricing and clear disclosure principles
  • Data protection and responsible information handling
  • Complaint handling, escalation pathways and resolution discipline
  • Environmental sustainability and ethical conduct
