On 25 March 2026, Evolution Commerce formalised its partnership with Rev Charge, marking a meaningful step in making cleaner mobility more accessible for employees. At its heart, this initiative is about helping people move in a more affordable, practical and sustainable way, especially at a time when fuel costs and wider energy pressures continue to weigh on everyday households.

As shared on Evocom’s Going Green page, the programme is built to make EV adoption simple and approachable. Employees are offered subsidised monthly lease rates, a 48-month lease-to-own plan, battery swap subscription during the lease term, insurance coverage during the lease term, scheduled maintenance support, payroll deduction convenience, and the option to own the bike at the end of the term for RM1, subject to programme terms.

For regular riders, Evocom’s EV bike programme is expected to reduce commuting costs by around 20% or more, making greener mobility not just cleaner, but more affordable too.

The current EV bike options featured are:

ModelMonthly PriceHighlights
OmigoRM420.852.5 kW, 85 km/h, up to 150 km range
Hyper (Limited Models)RM350.004.0 kW, 90 km/h, 70–75 km range
RyderRM247.502.0 kW, 80 km/h, 70–75 km range

Just as importantly, the programme is expected to help reduce day-to-day commuting costs. Using Malaysia’s 101–150cc motorcycle EEV benchmark of 2.2 litres per 100 km and the current unsubsidised RON95 price of RM4.02 per litre, a petrol bike ridden 1,500 km a month would use about 33 litres of fuel, costing around RM132.66 per month on petrol alone.

In a period when global oil markets remain unsettled, practical alternatives matter. Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance said in March that the prolonged conflict in West Asia had pushed global crude prices up by more than 40% and increased the risk of oil supply disruptions, underscoring why affordable and dependable mobility options are becoming more important. Against that backdrop, this initiative is not only about going green. It is also about easing everyday cost pressures and giving employees a more reassuring path towards modern mobility.

The rollout is targeted for May 2026, supported by structured onboarding plans to help employees come on board with confidence and clarity.
