Strong corporate governance is central to Evocom Berhad’s approach to investor relations.

The Board of Directors is chaired by Independent Non-Executive Chairman Tsen Keng Yam @ Adrian and supported by Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Ian Tan, alongside Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Dr Esther Loo.

Independent Non-Executive Directors Kwong Hoi Meng, Goh Yoke Chee and Jun Maria Tan Binti Abdullah, together with Non-Independent Non-Executive Director Fiona Tan, provide independent oversight, balanced decision-making and effective risk governance.

The Board is supported by an experienced executive leadership team, including Chief Financial Officer Lee Wee Wee @ Clement, who strengthens financial discipline, reporting and regulatory compliance, and Chief People Officer Umi Farziah, who leads the Group’s people strategy, workforce planning and organisational capability.

Board Of Directors

Tsen Keng Yam @ Adrian

Independent Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Tsen brings more than five decades of experience in accounting, audit, management consultancy and corporate governance. A Chartered Accountant and Life Member of the ICAEW, he was formerly a Partner of Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad following its merger with Arthur Andersen.

He has also held board leadership roles across several Main Market-listed companies, bringing seasoned judgment and strong governance oversight to Evocom.

Ian Tan

Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Tan is the founder and entrepreneurial force behind Evocom. His logistics experience began with UPS Malaysia in 2006, where he managed global accounts and developed new business opportunities.

He subsequently built his own parcel shipment operations before establishing Evolution Commerce in 2017. His deep industry knowledge and commercial agility have driven Evocom’s expansion into flexible staffing, last-mile delivery, transhipment and distribution hub operations.

Dr Esther Loo

Dr Esther is a transformation leader with approximately 20 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning engineering, data, technology, workforce transformation and organisational innovation. She combines technical depth with strategic leadership to translate complex ideas into practical, enterprise-wide impact.

She has led transformation initiatives across advanced manufacturing, national talent development, facilities management and aviation, with experience at First Solar, TalentCorp, UEM Edgenta and Malaysia Aviation Group.

At Evocom, she leads the Group’s digital transformation, artificial intelligence and ESG agenda while supporting its overall strategy and management. Her focus is on building intelligent, data-driven capabilities that strengthen operational performance, organisational agility and long-term competitiveness.

She holds a PhD in Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering and serves as an Adjunct Professor at UNITAR International University and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, bridging industry innovation with the development of future talent.

Kwong Hoi Meng

Mr Kwong Hoi Meng is a Chartered Accountant and approved company auditor with close to four decades of experience across audit, taxation, corporate advisory and financial management.

He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and has served as a partner and senior leader across audit and corporate services firms.

He also brings more than 15 years of board experience from a Main Market-listed integrated logistics company. His extensive financial, governance and industry knowledge strengthens the Board’s oversight of financial reporting, internal controls, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Fiona Tan

Ms Fiona Tan is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya with nearly three decades of experience across litigation, conveyancing, banking matters, contractual disputes and commercial agreements.

Her broad legal practice provides the Board with practical insight into corporate, contractual and employment-related matters. Having been associated with Evocom since 2017, she also brings strong institutional knowledge and a deep understanding of the Group’s development, operations and commercial environment.

Her legal judgment and commercial perspective support the Board in evaluating risk, strengthening governance and making informed strategic decisions.

Goh Yoke Chee

Ms Goh Yoke Chee is a Chartered Accountant with more than three decades of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, corporate finance, credit risk and business administration.

Her career progression from senior finance leadership to an executive directorship of an ACE Market-listed company has equipped her with a strong understanding of both financial governance and operational execution.

She brings a balanced and commercially grounded perspective to the Board, supporting effective financial oversight, risk evaluation and strategic decision-making as Evocom advances its next phase of growth.

Jun Maria Tan Binti Abdullah

Ms Jun Maria Tan brings more than 30 years of professional experience, including over two decades in human resources, talent strategy and organisational transformation.

She has held leadership roles at Motorola Solutions, MIMOS, LeapEd and PayNet, where her responsibilities covered workforce transformation, leadership development, succession planning, organisational capability and ESG-related initiatives.

She is also an adjunct professor at UNITAR International University, a TalentCorp Fellow and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia. Her combination of corporate, academic and board-level experience strengthens Evocom’s oversight of human capital, leadership readiness and sustainable organisational growth.

Lee Wee Wee @ Clement

Mr Lee Wee Wee brings more than 30 years of experience across accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, cash-flow management, taxation, regulatory compliance and financial planning.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, an ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of CPA Australia.

As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees Evocom’s accounting and finance functions and supports the Group’s strategic and commercial decision-making. His financial discipline and extensive regulatory experience strengthen Evocom’s governance, reporting integrity and readiness for sustainable, long-term growth.

Umi Farziah Binti Abd Ghapar

Ms Umi Farziah brings more than 25 years of human capital experience across the semiconductor, solar energy, consumer goods, automotive and aviation industries.

Her expertise spans workforce planning, talent acquisition, rewards, payroll and incentives, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement and labour compliance.

As Chief People Officer, she leads Evocom’s people strategy and the human capital infrastructure supporting its large, geographically distributed and operationally agile workforce. She is focused on strengthening leadership capability, organisational culture and the talent systems required to support sustainable business growth.
