EVOCOM Brings Job Opportunities to Rider Communities at Sibu & Melaka Bike Week

EVOCOM brought job opportunities directly to riders, drivers, gig workers, youth and local communities by activating on-ground recruitment at Sibu Bike Week and Melaka Bike Week. More than hiring, these activations were about showing up, listening, and building genuine relationships, because we respect the rider community and the role, they play in keeping the economy moving.

At both events, EVOCOM’s booth became a social touchpoint where riders and visitors gathered to connect, network, and learn about available roles in an informal and welcoming setting. The team spent time engaging with rider groups, exchanging perspectives, and strengthening community ties. The booth was kept lively with games and meaningful tokens, creating an environment that reflected the energy of the events while encouraging open conversations.

Across the activations, EVOCOM highlighted opportunities for courier day shifts, night shifts, and dedicated BSC Buyer Self Collect roles, with flexible options for full-time and part-time riders and drivers.

“Our aim is to bring jobs to where people are, while recognising and respecting the rider community we serve,” said Umi Farziah, Chief People Officer of EVOCOM

EVOCOM will continue participating in community-based activations across Malaysia throughout 2026, expanding access to job opportunities and strengthening partnerships with rider communities nationwide.
