Powering a Cleaner Tomorrow Through Smart EV Partnerships
Kuala Lumpur, 16 October 2025 — Evocom Berhad Group has officially kicked off its Electric Mobility Initiative, marking a major leap towards sustainable, tech-driven logistics.
The first phase of the rollout saw two electric bikes hit the road on 15 August 2025, followed closely by the launch of our first electric van on 8 September 2025. These vehicles represent more than a fleet expansion, they’re the spark behind Evocom’s commitment to Green Logistics, data-driven sustainability, and cleaner delivery operations.

“This isn’t a pilot for show, it’s a step towards changing how logistics move,” said Dr. Esther Loo, Chief Digital & Transformation Officer of Evocom. “We’re combining real-time data, innovation, and sustainability to prove that cleaner mobility can also be smarter and more efficient.”

These early results come from Evocom’s collaborations with RydeEV, Oyika Green Technologies, and Yinson Mobility, each playing a key role in helping the Group electrify its courier network.
Together, we’re not just cutting emissions , we’re reshaping how people and parcels move through cities.
As part of the Group’s broader ESG roadmap, this initiative under the Environment & Green Logistics pillar aligns with Evocom’s mission to make every delivery contribute to a cleaner, more connected Malaysia.
The road ahead is electric — and this is just the beginning. ⚡

Why the Electric Mobility Initiative Matters for Malaysia
Last-mile logistics is one of the more carbon-intensive parts of e-commerce, with delivery vehicles making frequent short trips through congested urban areas. By replacing petrol-powered bikes and vans with electric alternatives, Evocom’s Electric Mobility Initiative targets exactly the segment of its operations where emissions reductions are most achievable in the short term, while also cutting fuel and maintenance costs over the life of each vehicle.
The rollout also reflects a wider shift in Malaysia’s logistics sector, where riders and delivery partners are increasingly asked to balance cost, speed, and sustainability. Programmes that give riders access to electric bikes, such as the RydeEV partnership, can lower running costs for delivery partners while supporting the country’s broader push toward low-carbon transport.
Beyond the environmental case, the Electric Mobility Initiative gives Evocom a practical testing ground for how electrification performs in real Malaysian conditions, from tropical weather to dense urban traffic. Data from the EV Dashboard on carbon savings, trip counts, and vehicle uptime will help the Group decide how quickly to scale the fleet, which routes are best suited to electric bikes versus vans, and where further partnerships with providers like Oyika Green Technologies and Yinson Mobility could accelerate the rollout across other parts of the business.
Evocom plans to share further updates as the Electric Mobility Initiative expands, with the Group’s Environment & Green Logistics pillar continuing to guide how future vehicle purchases, rider partnerships, and route planning decisions are made across its Malaysian operations. This Electric Mobility Initiative is one Evocom plans to keep expanding as more routes and riders come online.
